Rules For The Road
Every good player needs to know the rules of the game, and our community space is no exception. These guidelines are our standards to ensure we maintain a supportive space for our members.
1. Be inclusive
We are welcoming of all members' backgrounds, cultures, and identities. Discriminatory behavior including but not limited to racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of discrimination is strictly prohibited.
2. Be supportive & encouraging
Our community is a space to celebrate wins and build others up. It's also a space to be vulnerable and we know vulnerability is a risk. Take the time to acknowledge success and hold space for others' struggles.
3. Share experiences over opinions
We want to hear what is (or isn't working) for you specifically. Your experiences will resonate with some folks, but not all. When in doubt, ground your statements from a place of "I" instead of "you."
4. Cite your sources
We encourage sharing trusted information with fellow members. You don't need to be up-to-date on all the latest research in a field, but if you're sharing stats and facts, we'd love to know the source.
5. No SPAM or promotions
Poker Power will remove any promotional posts that are not aimed at sharing a life lesson or learning. If you are interested in growing your brand or business, we ask that you to explore those ventures outside of this space.
